Resonite “Raghav Sharma” will represent India in IESO, 2017

Resonance Proudly announces that Resonite “Raghav Sharma” showed remarkable achievement in the “International Earth Science Olympiad” (IESO) 2017. He will be representing India in France.

IESO exam is organized by “International Geological Society” & conducted in Four stages. Class 9th ,10th & 11th students, according to the age criteria can appear in this exam.

Top 20 students got selected for the second round & they are evaluated in the three weeks camp conducted by Geological Society of India, Bangalore. Top 4 students are selected for the final round. This year out of these four students one is from Resonance PCCP Kota Study Center.

The Geological Society of India is the body responsible for selecting the Indian Team for the International Earth Science Olympiad. So far, the Earth Science Olympiad program in the country involved four stages: (i) National level Entrance Test, (ii) Training Camp culminating in the Indian National Earth Science Olympiad, (iii) Pre-departure training camp and (iv) International Earth Science Olympiad. The Earth Science Olympiad (ESO) is conducted by the ESO Cell at the Geological Society of India constituted by the President, Geological Society of India. The IESO is supported by the Ministry of Earth Science (MoES), Government of India as one of its outreach programme for promotion of Earth Science.

For the preparation of various exams of this kind, PCCP division conducts different types of workshops for both classroom and outsider students.

About PCCP Division of Resonance:

Resonance launched its Pre-Foundation Career Care Programmes (PCCP) Division in 2006.

The target of this is to offer platform for International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) and National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for class IX and X respectively. Along with preparation for private Olympiads of classes V to VIII. Preparing for these examinations is a tough task in such competitive environment but with correct guidance of PCCP Division, it can be achieved easily.
