In the first round of ZIO (Zonal Informatics Olympiad), Resonance PCCP Students once again showed remarkable result. This exam was conducted by Indian Association for Research in Computing Science held in 34 cities across India on Sunday, 15 November, 2015. From Rajasthan, only 4 students (Yash Gupta, Lay Jain, Pawan Goyal & Lavish Gupta) have qualified and all four students are from PCCP division, presently studying in class X.
The Students who qualify the first stage of ZIO will be selected for INOI- Indian National Olympiad in Informatics to be held on January 10, 2016 which will be based on programming skills.
INOI involves programming in any one of three languages C, C++, Pascal.
Head of Resonance PCCP program, Mr. Nilesh Gupta told that this competition is conducted in three rounds. First round is written exam, second round is based on Programming skills.
About 25 students are selected from INOI for a training camp which is going to be held in May-June to select Indian team for IOI- International Olympiad in Informatics. IOI would be held in Kazan, Russia in August, 2016.
Out of these four students, three are already representing India in the final round of IJSO-2015 (International Junior Science Olympiad) going to be held in South Korea.
