Profile of Keshav Hingonia (Star Resonite : IAS Selected)

Student of first batch of Resonance (2001). He cleared IIT-JEE and joined IIT Bombay from where he did B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering Dual Degree Programme) and passed out in 2009. Then he joined DRDO Company for 2 months. After this he appeared for IES Exam in 2010 which he felt to be quite easy and he got 5th rank. That inspired him to prepare for IAS exam and in 5 months preparation he secured 191 Rank in IAS in 2010.
According to Keshav in both B.Tech and Civil Services preparation hard work is required and since IIT-JEE preparation hard-work is utmost important. IIT-JEE preparation prepares an individual to fight for other competitive examinations also. I belong to Government Hindi Medium School but since I joined Resonance my life was completely changed. IIT-JEE was not at all hard just because of Resonance. Education sysytem is good at Reso along with it, systematic scheduling of studies helps a student to crack in IIT-JEE. Resonance is my part of life and Mr. R.K.Verma is my idol and biggest motivator.
My suggestion for other IIT-JEE aspirants is to study for 10 hours a day but along with fun. Go for walk for half an hour, eat healthy and sleep early. Maintain contact with parents each and every day and also worship God so that you rejuvinate each and every day. After cracking IIT-JEE, student faces a different world of IIT Campuses where there is a great learning. Students find lot of cultural activities, sports events, good groups which changes attitude towards life. Errors which generally causes failure in success are students count hours of study inspite of content which they study and delay of any doubt i.e. doubt is like a virus which should be raised and solved immediately.
My inspiration for IAS preparation was my dad as he is in same field as well as inspiration to develop infrastructure facilities and rectify electricity, water problems of rural areas motivated me to fight for civil services.
Funda of life is to think positive, work towards goal and credit of my success will obviously go to to God, my parents and family.
