NTSE Result 2017 for NTSE Stage 2 is declared on 23rd August 2017 by NCERT. The result has been acclaimed as a considerable success for the students of Resonance. This year our selection rate expanded by 48.67% as compared to the last year and total of 168 students from Resonance were selected for the scholarship.
It is a great deal of pride that 1720 students have been selected for NTSE from Resonance since 2006.
NTSE is considered as one of the toughest scholarship exams of India. This year the cut –off for the selection is as follows:

This year, the general outcome has been set up on the premise of 143 marks out of 150 as 7 questions were declared off base by NCERT. The exam was held on 14th May 2017. Around 4000 students were selected for the second round from all over India. Out of these, usually 1000 students are selected however this time 922 students have been selected for final scholarship of Rs. 1250/-PM which will be provided up to their higher education.
PRMO 2017: The Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad (PRMO) is a national level examination. The PRMO exam is conducted by IAPT and students studying in class XI or below are eligible to appear for the PRMO 2017. PRMO was conducted in month of August across the nation.
Eligibility: As per the eligibility criteria of PRMO, Born on or after August 1, 1998 and All Indian students who are born on or after August 1, 1998 and, in addition, are in Class XI or below are eligible to appear for the PRMO 2017. A student from any state of the country can register for this examination. A student can be from a government or a private school.

Pattern/ Syllabus: The syllabus of PRMO is not fixed and broadly consist of topics of Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory and Combinatorics till Class XI level.
Question Paper: The paper consisted of 30 questions of single or double digit integers to be solved in 150 minutes. The medium of test is English and regional languages. Each right answer carry one point each, thus making the total score of the candidate in a test equal to the number of questions answered correctly. There was no negative marking in the paper.
CLASS WISE MARK DISTRIBUTION
OVERALL DIFFICULTY LEVEL ANALYSIS
In this analysis we have rated every question on a scale of 1 to 3. The ratings are done by expert faculty of Resonance. The individual ratings are then averaged to calculate overall difficulty level.
1: Easy 2: Moderate 3: Difficult
The difficulty level of the paper comes out to be 2.23 as per Resonance experts. Out of the total 30 questions, 5 questions were easy, 13 were moderate while 12 questions were difficult.
SUBJECT WISE AND TOPIC WISE ANALYSIS

Our boys make India proud yet again. This year Resonance brings two medals for India in international Olympiads, a silver in IPhO and Bronze in IMO.
For the first time from Kota City, year 2017 has proved as special as Resonance has produced many historical results, adding glory to the name of Kota City. One of the Classroom students of Resonance, Kota Yash Sanjeev has received plaudits as he represented India in International Mathematical Olympiad 2017 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grabbed a Bronze Medal. This is first time from Kota City that someone represented India in IMO & secured a medal in IMO.
Pawan Goyal of Resonance, Kota has brought laurels to the country by grabbing a Silver medal in the 48th edition of the International Physics Olympiad in Jakarta, Indonesia. He achieved this milestone when he is merely in Class XIth. Pawan has a yearning interest in Physics and aimed of representing India in International Physics Olympiad since the time he acquired Gold Medal in IJSO in 2015. He stood at second rank in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna in 2016.

The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the result of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017, on 23 June 2017.
Out of more than 11 lacs students who appeared for this fiercely-competed entrance exam, one of the RESONites Sankeerth Sadanand – a Regular Classroom Students clichéd AIR 4 and Rakshita Ramesh bagged AIR 41. One more Regular Classroom student Sandeep Kumar secured OBC Category Rank AIR 5 and AIR 400 in General Category.
Managing Director of Resonance RK Verma Sir announced that 2974 students qualified in NEET 2017 from Resonance, out of which 1724 are from Classroom Program and 1250 from Distance Learning.
3 students from Resonance were able to secure their position in Top 100 (Classroom – 2 and Distance Learning – 1), 8 students in top 500 (Classroom – 5 and Distance Learning – 3), 26 students in top 1000 (Classroom – 8 and Distance Learning – 18).
RK Verma Sir congratulated all the students for a wonderful result. He also informed that 11,38,890 students registered for NEET 2017. There are 472 MBBS hospitals in India, where there are 65170 seats and around 308 colleges for BDS which have 25730 seats. This year the NEET exam was organized in 10 various regional languages.

Online counselling (All Indian Quota) for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) 2017 has been declared on the official site of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the scanner of the Supreme Court had announced the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) on June 23 2017 on their official site cbseneet.nic.in. The NEET is an entrance examination for any graduate medical course such as MBBS, Bachelor of Dental Surgery or postgraduate course i.e. Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Surgery in government or private medical colleges in India.
Schedule For Online Counselling (Allotment Process)
After the results are announced, the students will now appear for All India Quote counselling (NEET All India Quota UG (MBBS/BDS) Seats). The counselling is organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The MCC has released the schedule of counselling. As far as counselling at state level is concerned, the states would be releasing it soon. Medical colleges in a particular state have 85% seats for the native students and 15% (All India Quote) seats for the students from other state. For instance, a student from Delhi wants to purse MBBS from a college in Mumbai, he or she will be given a seat from 15% seats of total seats of the college. For now the counselling for All India Quote is conducted in July and state wise counselling would be in August this year.

The Joint Seat Allotment Authority of JEE mains are all set to publish the first allotment of JEE Main and Advanced 2017 on June 28, 2017.
Mock seat allotment process will take place on 20th and 23rd June. The qualified candidates can lock their choice of branch before June 26, 2017. Hence the aspirants who want to change their options or those who had not frozen the options have to do before 26th June.
