JEE Main 2019 – The New Marking & Ranking Scheme That You Should Know

JEE Main 2019: National Testing Agency has made amendment in the marking and ranking system for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2019. With the all-new conducting body, JEE Mains students have to face many changes for the year 2019. Although the Joint Entrance Examination for the year 2019 will be held twice and will be conducted by NTA.

National Testing Agency has recently released some changes regarding the JEE Mains Exam for the year 2019. On the official website only, NTA has brought down some fresh changes to be followed by the JEE aspirants from 2019 onwards. Check out more details regarding the same below.

As per National Testing Agency, there has been a  change in marking and ranking system for the Joint Entrance Examination 2019. Students appearing for the JEE Main exam in 2019 will have to go through the new marking and ranking system. Here are the new marking and ranking system for JEE Mains 2019 aspirants to be held by NTA-

Each session will hold a different NTA percentile after that a master NTA score will be prepared with the assembling of all sessions raking. Whereas the top-ranked candidates as in the final ranking will be 100 percentile and then the tiebreaker will be in the highest percentile in maths, physics and chemistry in order. Although even if the score ties, then the older candidate will be ranked as the top. Also, the NTA will follow the same marking and ranking system for JEE Mains 2 as well. Finally, the JEE Main merit will be announced after the Mains 2 exam only in 2019.

According to HRD ministry and NTA, the reason for the change of marking and ranking system was necessary for the JEE Mains exam as the test format has changed in 2019. Even the Joint Entrance Examination will be conducted twice (January and April) in a year from 2019 onwards. Also, the JEE aspirants can appear for both the sessions exam in the next year.

Although NTA has implemented no changes in pattern and difficulty level of the JEE Exam 2019. For more updates regarding the same, students must visit the official website of NTA on the regular basis.
