Accepting the demands of the candidates, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) allowed correction, if any, in Date of Birth, Category and Status of Persons with Disability the last date to do which is today May 18 till 05:00 pm.Hence students who wanted to make correction but have not done so far should do it before 05:00 pm today.
“Candidates who wish to make the correction may do so by logging into their account. The responsibility of correcting data is solely of the candidates. In no manner, correction will be allowed after declaration of result”, the CBSE said in an official statement.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 on Sunday May 06, 2018.According to the CBSE, a total of 13,26,725 candidates from India and abroad had registered for NEET 2018. Of them, 5,80,648 were boys, 7,46,076 girls and 01 transgender. Among them were 13,23,672 Indians, 530 OCI, 1,842 NRIs, 60 PIO and 621 foreigners. NEET 2018 was held at 2,255 exam centres in 136 cities.
NEET Answer Key and Result
The CBSE has not yet fixed any date to release the Answer Keys and OMR sheet of the candidates. As per the Information Bulletin, the CBSE will announce the date of release of Answer Key and OMR Sheet on its website after the exam.
Candidates should note that the CBSE normally releases the NEET Answer Key and OMR Sheet 1-2 weeks before the result. NEET 2018 Result will however be declared on or before June 05, according to the CBSE.
