JEE Advanced 2018 | Over 65000 Students Not to Sit for Exam Even After Clearing JEE Main 2018

JEE Advanced 2018: The registration for the JEE Advanced Exam is now closed and this time the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced exam has seen a huge dropout rate of 30%. Almost 65000 candidates who have qualified the JEE Mains Exam 2018 did not apply for the JEE Advanced exam. Clearing JEE Advanced exam will provide the admissions in IIT’s.

There is a huge fall from the candidates of Open Category. Out of the total Open Category candidates who qualified the JEE Main Exam, 42% didn’t register for the JEE Advanced Exam. These numbers are best for OBC NCL category. According to the Prof Shalabh, JEE Chairman from IIT Kanpur, the number of registration is likely to increase as the details of candidates from banks will come out in a day or two.

Gender Wise Registration For JEE Advanced 2018 Exam

Total 1.8 Lakh boys qualified the JEE Main Exam 2018 and out of these, 1.2 Lakh boys registered for the Advanced Exam of JEE. Total 32,933 girls candidates have registered for the JEE Advanced Exam 2018 out of the 50,000 girls who qualified the Joint entrance exam Mains exam.

Last year total 1.7 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Advanced exam out of the total 1.8 lakh candidates who cleared the JEE Mains Exam. The JEE Advanced Exam 2018 will be held on May 20.

JEE Advanced 2018 Registration Closed, Exam on 20th May

The registration for the JEE Advanced Exam 2018 is closed now. The registration for the JEE Advanced Exam 2018 was started on May 2nd. The last date for the registration was 7th May but it was extended till 8th May 10 am. Now the registration of the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced is closed.

The admit card for the JEE Advanced Exam 2018 will be out on May 14th. Candidates who have applied for the JEE Advanced Exam 2018 will be able to download the admit card for the exam from 14th May onwards on the official website of JEE Advanced website. The official website is https://jeeadv.nic.in.

The exam date for the Joint Entrance Exam Advanced Exam 2018 is 20th May (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in two papers. the Paper 1 of JEE Advanced 2018 will begin at 9 am and conclude at 12 noon and the Paper 2 will begin at 2 pm and will conclude at 5 pm.
