The engineering aspirants who couldn’t pay the registration fee by the deadline of 8 May until 5 pm would still be able to appear in the JEE Advanced 2018 examination. A provisional JEE Advanced admit card 2018 would be issued to such students who couldn’t complete the application fee payment process from May 14. The registration process for JEE Advanced concluded on May 8 at 10 am and all registered candidates were given time till 5 pm to complete the payment process. IIT Kanpur, the organizing body of the JEE Advanced exam this year took this decision keeping in consideration the concerns of such aspirants who were unable to pay the fee on time due to some or the other reason. Such candidates will now have to submit a demand draft of Rs. 3100 if belonging to the General or OBC category, and, SC, ST, PwD and Female candidates will have to submit a demand draft of Rs. 1800 at the examination center allotted to them, in the name of “Organizing Chairman JEE (Advanced) payable at Kanpur”. The candidates are not supposed to carry any other document other than the draft and their provisional admit card.

According to the official website jeeadv.nic.in, the “partially registered” provisional candidates will receive an intimation from the Organizing Institute to upload any other documents required post examination, but before June 5, 2018. This should not concern those candidates who completed their application, along with the payment of fees, before the deadline. JEE Advanced 2018 exam will be conducted on May 20, 2018 and the admit card for the same will be made available on the official website from May 14. This year about 2,31,024 candidates who took the JEE Main 2018 cleared it and became eligible for JEE Advanced exam.
