NEET 2018: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate admission to MBBS and BDS is scheduled to take place on May 6 at 10 am. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to organise CBSE NEET 2018 examination on May 6 at 10.00 am across the country for the admission into undergraduate’s medical courses. CBSE NEET 2018 replaces the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves. CBSE NEET 2018 is an entrance examination for students who wish to study any undergraduate medical course – MBBS or BDS – in government or private medical colleges in India.
As many as 13.36 lakh students have registered for CBSE NEET 2018 entrance examination. Already reports have started appearing about what will be allowed inside the hall and what type of clothes one should wear for the exam. But there is no need to panic about anything. CBSE NEET 2018 is like any other entrance examination in the country. Board has to follow strict guidelines to achieve the aim of conducting free, fair and smooth examination so that the eligible students join MBBS and BDS courses.
Undergraduate courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research JIPMER are outside the NEET’s purview.
