ICAI CPT & CA Final Results 2016 caresults.nic.in icai.org: Apex Chartered Accountants management body of India had delayed the results of Common Proficiency Test and Final examinations for 2 days.

The same happened because of the weekend on 16th and 17th of July. ICAI aka Institute of Chartered Accountants of India usually declares the results of CPT and IPCC examinations on 16th only from many years.

The institute which is expecting structural changes in the entrance and the subsequent examinations had declared the official date as 18th of July. There is no chance of getting the result delayed as the body always remains strict to its words, unless or until there is an emergency.

The date and time of the results declaration as per the institute is 18th July 2016 around 02:00 P.M but they usually uploads the same by 1:00 PM to avoid any misconceptions.

A copy of marksheet also got mailed to the official address as per your details after the examination within 40 days. The online copy of the result is only valid for screening purposes. It would be better if students try to get the original copy of the mark sheet.

ICAI Registration number: 10 digit code indicating first 3 digits as letters and remaining 7 as numbers. For ex: NRO0232312

  • First, go to official web site http://www.icai.nic.in
  • Select the item calling ‘CPT Results – JUNE 2016.’
  • Enter Name, Roll No, and Captcha along with Pin or ICAI registration number.

Your results will be declared on the same screen

How to check CA Final Result 2016

  • First, go to official website http://www.icai.nic.in
  • choose the item calling ‘Final Results – MAY 2016.’
  • Enter Examination Roll No and Captcha along with ICAI registration number or PIN, if asked

CPT Marking Scheme: There are total 200 questions. 1 number for each correct answer and -0.25 number for each incorrect answer. The mark sheets usually got checked by OMR machines.

CPT Passing Marks: Minimum 30% marks individually in each subject and minimum 50% marks in total. Candidates scoring less than 100 marks will be disqualified.

Final Marking Scheme: There is no specific marking scheme. Usually, step marking is done on the basis of the points done.

CA Passing Marks: There could be two situations

(a) Secures at one sitting atleast of 40 percent marks in each paper of each of the group and atleast of 50% marks in the gross of all the papers of each of the groups; or
(b) Secures at one sitting, a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each paper of both the groups and a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate of all the papers of both the groups taken together.

The correction window will get open automatically on the other official site as soon as the results are declared.
