Resonance PCCP Student selected in “Indian National Mathematics Olympiad” (INMO). Will now compete to represent India on International Level

In the series of success one more achievement has been credited in  Resonance  PCCP account.  Student of  PCCP Mumbai Study Center “ GITANJIT MEDHI” (Class- IX)  has been selected  for  Training Camp of INMO (Indian National Mathematics Olympiad)  He is one out of the three,  selected from Mumbai for the camp. This camp would be held in Delhi in the Month of February. 6 students from this camp will be selected to represent  India in International Mathematics Olympiad.

Mathematical  Olympiad  is the only school level Mathematical Problem solving contest held annually. It is conducted by different organizations to identify, encourage, promote & nurture the talent in Mathematics at state, Regional , National & International Levels in India. This is organized by National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM) since 1988. This is conducted in five stages, The Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) is usually held during October- December in 25 regions.


For last 17 years KVS has been conducting its own Mathematical Olympiad Programme in two phases- (JMO) Junior Mathamatics Olympiad & (RMO)- Regional Mathematics Olympiad. After screening the students by JMO, about top 60-70 students are trained and tested by KVS –RMO. Top 30 students selected from KVS-RMO  participate in INMO conducted by (NBHM )

For the preparation of various Olympiads and competitive exams, Resonance PCCP conducts different types of classroom programs and workshops for the classroom as well as outsider students.
