Student from Kargil cracked JEE Advanced: Resonance JEE Advanced 2015 Results

When we hear about Kargil, all we can remember is terrorist activities, violence and above all Kargil War of 1999. Some of the students, in last few years have brought a new side of Kargil which is much more desirable and heart warming. Mohammad Hassnain, a student studied till 10th in Kargil and a 2 year classroom student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bundi (JNV Bundi) and Resonance secured AIR 7070 and ST category rank 26 in JEE Advanced 2015 results.

Given his rank in his category, he should be able to get top college among all Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Before him two other students have qualified from Kargil.

Talking about his experiences while studying in Kargil, Hassnain in his interview with Dainik Bhaskar, mentioned about difficulties related to snow, electricity, supplies and most importantly availability of teachers (let alone good).

Mr Asheesh Sharma, CEO of Resonance Eduventures Pvt Ltd, commented that students of JNV are talented and Resonance has been a mentoring force to them. These students have proved that income is not a barrier for success, he added. Resonance sent regular faculties to these students and full academic support was given to them, he concluded. 89% students qualified for JEE Advanced this year from JNV Bundi.

    • Dear Shubham
We used the article of Dainik Bhaskar as a reference in making this post. It was never our intention to skip the JNV Lucknow. You can see the attached image where there was no mention of JNV Lucknow.

There is clear mention of JNV Lucknow in the article.

        Please check.

Also, it has been taught by Resonance. Please check with your authorities.

It is unethical to give falsified image of the organization.

We acknowledge your performance in JNV Bundi but then you should also take responsibility of JNV Lucknow which merely produced 7 out of 40 selections.

        Pls update your post.

The required change has been made. Thank you for your feedback. Although according to Dainik Bhaskar, JNV Lucknow has 30 students instead of 40.

I would like to tell you that last year our share among students qualified in JEE Advanced 2014 was 15.11% (4105 in 27152 qualified).
This year this share has increased to 15.22% (4025 out of 26,456 qualified) based on the results received so far and still the number of our selections is likely to increase as we are getting updated numbers from various study centres.
