He is passionate about his work at 75. The creative impulse that is unleashed in his heart, accounts for his creative energy as a surgeon. He operates upon a patient with remarkable ease and utmost precision. Born in August 1931, Dr.Vidyadhar Sharma graduated as a doctor in 1956, earned his MS medicine in 1962, MS surgery in 1964 and became a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons (UK) in 1967. A perfect hand in surgery, Dr.V.D.Sharma worked in the capacity of as a surgeon in SMS Hospital Jaipur, RNT Medical college, Udaipur and Several Hospitals in the UK. His steady hands and keen eyes can perform most complicated surgery. A Jovial Dr.V.D.Sharma says, “I could even carry out an open heart surgery.” That’s not an exaggeration, looking at his expertise and ability to deal with a clean scalpel. To relieve a patient from distress is his first love. He would even spend from his pocket to pay for medicines for poor patients. Charging them a consultation fee would be far from asking. In order to serve the ailing needy of the rural, Dr.Vidyadhar surrendered his lucrative govt. job and committed himself to the cause of health and well being of the down trodden by starting Indian Rural Health Institute dedicating 25 years of his life. As a surgeon at Nirogdham hospital, Anantpura , Kota he has been rendering support to thousands of the ailing to keep well, building all around a trust in humanity amongst people from all sectors.
He often tells his patients about the secret of keeping a good health that he prefers to narrate as :

These six will gladly you attend
If only you are willing
Your will they’ll mend
And charge you not a shilling.
He firmly believes in the words of Lord Budha, “Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.”
Dr. Vidyadhar Sharma has a fascination for the intellect, approach to radical solutions & philosophy an IITian pursues which, he appreciates in his IITian son in law, Mr.Chandra Prakash Sharma who took his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur in 1980. After having worked for Mukund steel and Tata Motors, he joined City Bank, Singapore 12 years ago where he has leaped on his career path as Vice President, Technology Office.
